Traveling to the Field

Flat tire after our bike tires popped.

HELLO EVERYONE,

Sorry i couldn't email last week, we were coming in to Arizona so we didn't get a chance to email everyone!

I am serving in the Tucson East Zone, in the Pima area. Tucson is huge. But we are in the city! We have a car, but we do our best to bike everywhere we go. Believe it or not, I LOVE THE BIKE. It is so much better than driving around everywhere. And the weather is so nice!!! I can't complain about that. Apparently it is a lot warmer than normal, so that means the summer is going to be REALLY HOT. Lol that will be awesome...

So far everything has been interesting. Our investigators are AWESOME, pretty crazy, but awesome! I am excited to get to know them better! We have got three people this week who want to be baptized, so that is really exciting!!!

We get fed dinner every night by the members and it is usually pretty good! There are some days that I really gotta do my best to not think about what I am eating HAHA. So far the weirdest thing I have eaten is chili with a lot of lamb and bison in it. Thank goodness she told us it was lamb and bison AFTER we ate it. (; We also got offered alcohol on the street lol. When he found out that I was from Utah he started talking about all the crazy drinking experiences he has had there and then offered us some, it was an awkward conversation HAHA.

Sister Johnson and I share the same ward with two other sisters. We've had some serious bad luck this week... we got a bike stolen, popped a bike tire, and then when we were all in the car- our car tire popped. It was a rough week. BUT WE MADE IT!

It has been a super rough transformation being on a mission. I have been struggling a lot since we got out. There are a lot of random things that are making it really stressful, but I am doing my best and hoping that this following week will be a little better for me.

All packages and letters go to the mission office, then they forward them to us! We still get to read emails as they come in, and those are super fun to get throughout the week- so to those who do send the emails throughout the week, THANK YOU!

BTW, if you send me an email and I don't respond, I am so sorry! I am doing my best to respond to everyone, but it is really hard emailing on a tablet and with only a short amount of time! Much love!

Love, Sister Cooper
