every week becomes my favorite week here in good ol arizona, it's like a snowball effect. (it's been hailing recently and when it all gets piled together iT LOOKS LIKE SNOW.)lol anyways, happy 7 months to me ((:
we had our zone conference this week and that was great as always! we talked a lot about technology and the powerful tool that it CAN be. i've learned so much about how to use technology and that we can either be the puppet or the master. i also love a scripture sister skousen shared with me:
alma 26:36
"now if this is boasting, even so will I boast; for THIS IS MY LIFE and my light, my joy and my salvation, and my redemption from everlasting wo. yea, blessed is the name of my God, who has been mindful of this people, who are a branch of the tree of Israel, and has been lost from its body in a strange land; yea, I say, blessed be the name of my God, who has been mindful of us, wanderers in a strange land."
this is my life. i will never come home from my mission. it has changed me and everything i want in and for my life. i know elder holland likes to say that no one could have benefited and changed more than him by his mission, but i think im real close.(;
this week was another full of miracles, we also hit standards of excellence for our mission! it was great. we set 2 bap dates and more are coming! we had a lesson with leo (the man who came up to us in sacrament and said he wanted to be baptized) and when we asked him if he would, he started crying. my heart was so full realizing how greatly this would impact his life. i love that i get to experience this. there were many other miracles but i'll keep this email brief.

fun story: we saw a skunk outside our sliding glass door last night. my comp wanted to go out and take a picture but i REFUSED to let that girl come walkin back in if she got sprayed. all is well. (;
