CONFERENCE

HI

I truly felt loved this week. Long story short, I found out that I have been having the pains in my side, etc because my body cannot process and digest sugar, fats, etc. So I was put on a very strict diet to have NONE of those things. People feed and overfeed us and because I don't eat hardly at all in the beginning of the day, and LOTS for dinner--that it is having a negative affect on my body. The day after getting this information, I got 5 packages from friends and family that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Sadly, they were full of sugar(; But it was SO VERY fun to be able to give that to other missionaries and people and see their face light up. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!  :) They sure picked the right word for diet because I feel like I am going to DIE if I go another day only eating veggies HAHA. But thank you for the packages, it meant the world to me!

CONFERENCE WAS AMAZING. The pattern of topics I saw the most was love, unity, and sacrifice. One thing that I have been thinking about recently is the importance of putting "I ought" over "I want". When we do that, it is so much easier for us to love others, sacrifice, and be united. "I ought" is spirit inspired, and important even if we don't understand or want to do it. I don't think Christ really wanted to go through everything He did, but He knew it was what he ought to do and He loved us SO MUCH that He was willing to. And we have so many opportunities because of it. Our new Zone Focus is to #riseup. During my senior year of cheer, our motto was to Rise Up. I learned so much during that year about how to look past myself and to do things for others. Those were some of the hardest months but the things that I was able to learn because of it were very worth it. Cheer taught me some of the most important life lessons and importance of working hard. I am very grateful for Shelese and the girls that were examples to me. But I want to rise up in a different way. When Gerrit W Gong talked about weeping after receiving his new call, that had a huge impact on me. They take their callings very seriously and I want to do the same. Christ rose up, and now it's our turn!!! Another thing that stuck out to me was when they talked about being one prayer away. We are one prayer away from everything. Comfort, guidance, forgiveness, love, help, a friend, relief, and so much more. "We have a heaven sent opportunity" to love, sacrifice, and unite ourselves. To BECOME like the Savior. I wish I could share everything that I loved about conference, but I'll leave it at that small thought.

Our investigator Dennis texted us after watching conference and said that for the first time in 77 years he missed Easter mass to watch conference. At first he felt bad about it, but afterwards said that it was the best decision he made. He said that he loved President Nelson and that conference had an impact on him. "There is nothing like this in the Catholic church". We were so happy to hear that and we are hoping that he is getting closer to being baptized!

That is all for this week, but I love you all! Thank you for all your love and support!

#RISEUP this week((:

LOVE, SISTER COOPER
